Israel is an experienced stage and screen actor who trained at RADA and has appeared in stage productions by the Royal Shakespeare Company and Hollywood movies.
Israel fell in love with drama whilst at primary school in Shoreditch and joined RADA to train in the mid 1990s. By the late 90s he was a regular in RSC productions and has gone on to collect an impressive array of credits.
Film credits include, Pirates of the Caribbean II, About A Boy, Dirty Pretty Things and Man And Boy. Television credits include, The Bill, The Ghost Squad, Doctors, Eastenders, Judge John Deed, Casualty, Prime Suspect and New Tricks.
Israel’s stage performances include, Eros, Antony and Cleopatra (RSC); George Seacole, Much Ado About Nothing (RSC); Jesus, The Winchester Passion (BBC) and Bloke Modessani, Who Killed Mr Drum (Riverside Studios).
Israel’s film roles mean that he has gained many skills including, fencing, unarmed combat, athletics, football, basketball and horse riding!
